Description
Visit the Taller Tèxtil de la Lina, artisan of the Obrador Xisqueta Association, located in the Masies de Llaràs, a natural environment that offers us many options for collecting dyeing plants and a unique opportunity to discover this corner of the Baix Pallars. You will be accompanied by Lina, a versatile craftswoman and a well of wisdom in various fields (natural dyes, plain low loom, knitting, crochet, stocking, spinning, natural soaps, etc.…). You can choose one of these two activities: the art of spinning, both with a sharpener and a spindle; or take a first dive into a magical world, that of natural dyes.

We work in order to recover the craftwork that gives value to Xisqueta wool by supporting the shepherds who preserve that sheep species. We buy their wool at a fair price, and we have created and formed a collective of artisans who transform it. We want to keep ancestral knowledge alive and adapt it to our contemporaneity. Each Xisqueta piece is the result of a unique craft, a beautiful natural territory and a recovered raw material, wool, which had been forgotten.
