Located between Girona and Olot, the confluence between the rivers Ter and Brugent hosts vast forests of high natural value as well as a long tradition of craftwork related to wood industry (furniture, pipes, sticks, wine barrels, …), basketwork and textile sector.
A route through the workshops of the artisans who live in the villages of Bonmatí, Sant Julià de Llor, Anglès, La Cellera de Ter, Amer and Susqueda will show you how varied they are. You will find several consolidated companies that maintain traditional arts and crafts as well as new emergent professionals who create modern and artistic pieces made of wood or other materials.
