About us
The most emblematic activity of La Bisbal d'Empordà is ceramics, a manufacture of great tradition and renown that has generated an important tangible and intangible heritage. The Terracotta Museum is located in an industrial building that allows to evidence and integrate in the museographic discourse a whole series of architectural elements characteristic of the production: earthenware ponds, chimneys, clay and engalba deposits, ovens ...; making the building one of the most outstanding pieces in the Museum.
