For the Catalan, Canigou is a highly praised symbolic mountain that inspired many popular songs and poems and that used to host the garnet and iron –among other raw materials– used by the local artisans.
Soaking your hands into a vat to dye a cloth is a mysterious and magical moment. During one hour and a half, you will have the privilege to become a blue dyer and share intense moments together with your fellow participants. Come and plunge into the local heritage of Toulouse and Occitania.
Annette et Yves is a couple of craftspeople who open the doors of their workshop to soak their hands into dye vats. Dyeing with Pastel is a unique artistic and patrimonial adventure.

You will attend a dyeing demonstration and have the opportunity to dye a piece of cloth. You will go back home with a turban dyed by Annette in the workshop. This first contact with Pastel will help you decide whether you want to go further in pastel dyeing.
